The template for the IH69 system is any quadrilateral with two adjacent sides equal to one another and with the other two adjacent sides also equal, thus forming a kite or arrowhead shaped figure. An example of each is shown below. All sides of the quadrilateral can be shaped as indicated by the half-arrows.
